RAINSCREEN SOLUTIONS LLC is the successor to Pohl Engineering LLC, established in 2014 as an independently operating enterprise. The short company history has strong foundation based on the owner’s background in architecture and 30+ years of experience in designing and engineering rainscreen systems worldwide.

Originally from Poland, Zbigniew (Ziggy) Hojnacki received his architecture and graduate engineering degrees at Silesian Technical University. After fleeing the political turmoil of Poland in 1988, he relocated to Germany, pursuing his education further and securing positions as engineer and project manager at several European commercial companies, eventually establishing in 1994 his own Façade Design and Development firm, Alkoplan. In 1998 he moved with the family to the United States. Hojnacki completed more than 400 large scale projects throughout Europe and USA.
