RAINSCREEN SOLUTIONS LLC is the successor to Pohl Engineering LLC, established in 2014 as an independently operating enterprise. The short company history has a strong foundation based on the owner’s background in architecture and 30+ years of experience in designing and engineering rainscreen systems worldwide.

Originally from Poland, Zbigniew (Ziggy) Hojnacki received his architecture, and graduate engineering, degrees at Silesian Technical University. After fleeing the political turmoil of Poland in 1988, he relocated to Germany, pursuing his education further and securing positions as engineer and project manager at several European commercial companies. Eventually, in 1994, establishing his own Façade Design and Development firm, Alkoplan. In 1998, he moved with his family to the United States. Ziggy completed more than 400 large scale projects throughout Europe and USA.

Our employee’s background in international relations, their experience and insight with our commercial projects, makes them the perfect professional fit and invaluable at Rainscreen Solutions.

If your project is already completed and the façade isn’t performing per specification, we will help you identify the problem and find an affordable solution for repair.
