The new building on Rötestraße/Emil-Münz-Straße is the first building block in the overall real estate concept. The Rems-Murr district and its district construction company are building a new administration building on the site of the former Ludwig Schlaich Academy.

The building was officially inaugurated in May 2023. Since June 2023, the health and order department, with the immigration office, the public order office and the health department, have started operations in the new building.
