The project was a 78,000 sqft basketball practice facility and Hall of Fame designed by Populous Architects. The building design featured two prominent elements clad in textured Ultra High Performance Concrete ( UHPC ) from TAKTL. The architect wanted a concealed fastening system for the plank panels so the reed texture would appear uninterrupted. Rainscreen Solutions LLC designed and provided the panel sub-frame and custom clips to conceal the mechanical fasteners and allow for independent installation of the panels.
