The new Student Recreation and Aquatics Center at San Jose State University will serve as a central hub and student destination on this urban campus, comprising a 120,000 sf gymnasium along with a 40,000 sf outdoor aquatics deck supporting two 50-meter pools. Program elements include a weight and fitness center, exercise rooms, rock climbing wall and support space for campus sports club organizations. Due to complete in Spring 2019, this project has benefited from an integrated and efficient design-build approach and process with Hunt Construction and our local design team.

For this project Rainscreen Solutions LLC received in 2017 contract to provide shop, fabrication drawings and structural calculations based on California Panel Systems system CPS-6100.
