Project Name: Grove at Grand Bay Condominium Towers Location: Miami, FL Architect: BIG, NY Material: 2 mm aluminum marine grade System: Custom Designed Soffit Panels Construction: 2015-2016 Area of Panels: 14,500 sq. ft.
Description
Constructed in Miami’s historic Coconut Grove neighborhood, the Grove at Grand Bay is a pair of twisting 20-story glass towers that boast spectacular views, amenities, and an eco-conscious design. Co-developed by local firm Terra, Grove at Grand Bay is on track to become the first all-residential tower to achieve LEED Gold status in Florida.
Located on South Bayshore Drive, the 98-unit Grove at Grand Bay condominium overlooks views of Biscayne Bay to downtown Miami. Despite Miami’s reputation as a car-centric city, the Grove at Grand Bay’s surrounding area is highly walkable and close to some of the city’s most popular cafes, lounges, bookstores, and boutiques. The pedestrian-friendly luxury condominium also includes two rooftop pools, a five-star spa and fitness center, full-time concierge and butler service, and even a pet spa. Residences range between 1,300 square feet in size to a 10,000-square-foot full-floor penthouse. All units come with 12-foot-high ceilings and glass doors.
For this project Rainscreen Solutions LLC received in 2015 contract to engineer interior soffit panel system for both towers.
